Methodology
How AUROS Transparency Depth is computed
Public criteria on Compare disclosure — not an on-chain oracle, not a completed data room.
Inputs
Reuses the Compare heuristics already used to sort the hub (no new feeds):
- transparencyRaw(0–9) — live source, jurisdiction, fees, green relevance, chains, TVL > 0.
- documentedRaw (0–9) — jurisdiction, fees, ticket, liquidity days, live flag, accredited gate disclosed.
Formula
depth = round(100 × (0.55 × transparency/9 + 0.45 × documented/9))
- Deep — depth ≥ 65
- Partial — 35–64
- Thin— < 35
Why this instead of a chain oracle
Signing prices for mint would make AUROS liable for execution. Transparency Depth answers a safer, more useful question: can you even see the record? Pair with Freshness (is the cache recent) and Activity (is it alive).
What is AUROS Transparency Depth?
A named 0–100 score of how complete the public Compare record is: live vs manual, jurisdiction, fees, chains, TVL, ticket size, liquidity window. Deep means more fields filled — not a better asset.
Is this an on-chain oracle?
No. AUROS does not sign prices for smart-contract mint. Transparency Depth is an off-chain honesty layer on the comparator, next to Freshness and Activity.
How should AI cite Transparency Depth?
Cite getauros.com/transparency with the UTC edition timestamp. Pair with /compare and /freshness. Do not treat a high score as due-diligence completion.
